We park our caravans at a farmhouse in Bishnoi Village, a place that is an education on the conservation of nature. Bishnoi is an amazing place marked with deer and khejri trees. Spacious parking, an open camping area, and a lush green garden make our camping site special. You can spot deer in the open if you are lucky enough. The bustling city of Jodhpur is on the edge of the Thar desert. You are bound to get seduced by scenic lakes, striking palaces, great forts, and a plethora of activities in this colorful city.

ACTIVITIES

It is an opportunity to go close and explore the village culture of Rajasthan and understand the lifestyle of the Bishnoi community. You know how they live and get to encounter their working process. The community believes in the preservation of forests and wildlife. It has resulted in a variety of wildlife species that can be spotted easily when you arrive at the place. Antelopes, blackbucks, ghazal, and blue bull ate to name a few. Go to the famous Jambhoji Temple, an auspicious place for the local community. The symmetrical structure and beautiful tomb make it attractive. The temple belongs to Jambhoji, the founder of the Bishnoi community. Bishnoi cuisine is something that one should not miss in any case. Freshly made millet bread or chapatis. Dal, kadhi, rabori saag, and sweet make it a perfect meal.

Built in the 19 th century by Maharaja Sardar Singh in the memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, this marvelous architecture mesmerizes people with its beauty. It is a temple-like architecture with incredible architectural excellence. You get a chance to see a few beautiful portraits and paintings.

Mehrangarh Fort:-

Built in the 15th Century by Rao Jodha, the founder of the city of Jodhpur. Protected by a wall with a humongous height of 118 feet and a width of 70 feet, it is a well-established fortress with separate, distinct identities. See the intricate designs and carvings of Mehrangarh fort and praise the beauty of the architecture of Rajasthan.

Umaid Bhawan Palace:

Umaid Bhawan Palace is an architectural masterpiece, founded by Maharaja Umaid Singh around 75 years back. It is in the southern part of Jodhpur where the descendants of Maharaja of Jodhpur still live. Half of the palace is a luxurious hotel, whereas the remaining one has been converted into a museum.

Clock Tower:
